Providing early onset nutrition to critically ill patients via
the ENvue system has been transformational for myself as a critical care nurse. Ironically, before we had ENvue I avoided the task of putting feeding tubes in place at all costs; now I find myself eager to delve into the technology and become an expert so that I can give my patients the best care possible.
As a Nurse I took an oath to do no harm to my patients, and blind placement of enteral feeding tubes or using other systems I always felt that I could not control the outcome. The Envue machine takes away the anxiety of placing feeding tubes. With Envue I have total confidence where the tube is at all times, can place an enteral feeding tube post pyloric more than 95% of the time, and can control the outcome avoiding lung placement and causing no harm.
